Stone Moves, an indoor rock climbing gym located at 6970 FM 1960, Houston, closed Nov. 30.

In a letter penned by co-owner Cory Melancon, he cited competition from the opening of similar concepts as well as the impending expansion of FM 1960 as reasons for the gym’s closure. Melancon added Stone Moves had developed a partnership with inSPIRE Rock, which has locations in Cypress and Spring, where many Stone Moves staff members are now working. inSPIRE Rock has locations at 16730 House Hahl Road, Cypress, and at 403 E.
