Wet'n'Wild SplashTown, located at 21300 I-45, Spring, will open for the season at 10 a.m. May 5, the park announced this week.

The 48-acre waterpark offers 41 slides, rides and other attractions. Through May 25, the park will be open Friday through Sunday. After May 25, the park will be open every day. Season passes are available for $69.99 per person or $64.99 online.

The park has operated for 33 years, and its newest ride—the six-story tube slide Alien Chaser—opened last summer.

Recently, Wet'n'Wild SplashTown owners Premiere Parks announced the facility will undergo a multiyear expansion in the future, possibly expanding by 30 acres at a cost of up to $20 million.

A new food option at the park this summer will be Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q, which will be open on weekends beginning Memorial Day weekend. Other food items offered at Wet'N'Wild SplashTown include spicy chicken tenders, slow-roasted pork carnitas and The Texan Burger with onion rings and barbecue sauce. The water park will also offer a Funnel Cake of the Day throughout the season.
