Sleep Hollow Drive is scheduled to go to bid in January instead of November. The project is expected to break ground in March, with construction ending in October. The project will replace old concrete pavement and replace the water line at Sleep Hollow Drive, Washington Irving Drive and Rip Van Winkle Drive along with sanitary sewer rehabilitation on Sleepy Hollow.

The project will cost $2.05 million and is funded by the 2019 bond referendum.

Pearland City Council awarded a construction contract for the Linwood Street reconstruction project at its Sept. 28 meeting. The Linwood project is also funded by the 2019 bond and is expected to cost $1.49 million.

The project will reconstruct Briar Circle, Linwood Oaks and Yupon Circle. Construction is expected to end in July.
