Brazoria County saw 68,018 voters turn out in person during the first week of early voting. The county also received 1,862 mail-in ballots during the first week of early voting and 5,597 mail-in ballots prior to Oct. 13, which was the first day of early voting.

The county has 224,556 registered voters, which means that roughly 30.29% of voters voted in person during the first week of early voting.

In 2016, the county had 196,597 registered voters, according to the Texas Secretary of State's Office website. During the 2016 election, 98,652 people voted early in Brazoria County, which represents roughly 50.18% of registered voters.

Early voting runs through Oct. 30. Election Day is November 3.
