Here are some regional road closures for Pearland and Friendswood drivers to be aware of this weekend, Oct. 26-28. Hwy. 288 All lanes will be closed from Hickory Slough to FM 518 from 9 p.m. Oct. 26 to 5 a.m. Oct. 29. I-45 The northbound frontage road will be closed from NASA Road 1 to FM 518 until 5 a.m. Dec. 3. The northbound exit ramp between League City Parkway to FM 518 will be closed until 9 p.m. Dec. 31. Beltway 8 The eastbound and westbound frontage roads at Hwy. 288 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Oct. 26.
