The International chain 85C Bakery Cafe held a grand opening of its Friendswood location, 19028 I-45, near Baybrook Mall, on Oct. 26. The shop serves over 100 kinds of sweet and savory baked goods, from breads and pastries to croissants, danishes and cakes—all baked fresh daily—as well as a line of coffees and teas. The company was founded in Taiwan in 2003, and opened its 1,000th location in Houston in July.
