Traditional Gumbo Cookoff
Rob Ray's Taproom is having its second annual gumbo cookoff, where attendees can taste test and the winner gets a $100 cash prize. Judging begins at noon.

Local nonprofit Women Leading Success hosts this 1920s-themed fundraiser at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Pearland.
