Brazoria County reported 189 new confirmed coronavirus cases July 28. This is the highest number of new cases the county has reported in a day, tied with the case counts July 14.

Case counts from July 29 and 30 are higher than case counts the week of July 20, potentially ending the downward trend the county had started to see since July 17.

Brazoria County also reported 82 recoveries and eight new deaths on July 28.

On July 27, the county reported 124 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 86 recoveries. On July 29, the county reported 158 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 111 recoveries. On July 30, the county reported 145 new confirmed coronavirus cases, 50 recoveries and one new deaths.

The 20-29 age bracket has more cases than any other age bracket in the county. It also reported the most cases for an individual age bracket July 27 and 29. The 40-49 age bracket reported more cases than any other bracket July 28 and 30.

Pearland is reporting more cases than any other city in the county. The city reported the most cases July 27, 29 and 30. Angleton reported more cases than any other city in the county July 28.
