Shadow Creek Ranch High School was used as a COVID-19 testing site by the state of Texas on May 6. According to a press release from Brazoria County, none of the 143 tests administered came back positive for COVID-19.

Free COVID-19 testing will be offered by Community Health Network at the Brazoria County Fairground on May 19-22 and May 26-29. Those looking to be tested will need to call ahead and be assigned an ID number for testing. The phone number for testing is 281-824-1480.

The county is encouraging residents to continue following safety guidelines put in place by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, such as social distancing, avoiding crowds and washing hands regularly. Face coverings are recommended in public.
