The Brazoria County Fairgrounds are open for free coronavirus testing.
Those wishing to get tested at the fairgrounds, located at 901 S. Downing St., Angleton, must do a pre-screening test determined by the CDC through Community Health Network's call center, according to a press release sent out by Brazoria County.
Brazoria County is partnering with Community Health Network to provide testing at the site.
“Even through these unprecedented times, Community Health Network has focused on the health, safety and wellbeing of our community by a committed healthcare team remaining available for access to care,” Dr. Yvette Poindexter, community health network’s chief medical officer, said in a press release sent out by Community Health Network. “Our healthcare team stands to uplift the community with education, prevention and testing for COVID-19 but does not hesitate to lead the way in essential services in primary care.”
Community Health Network is a system of health clinics operating in Brazoria, Galveston and Harris counties.
Here are the hours of operation for the testing site:
Tues., Wed., Thu., Fri.: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
