Essential Vision Center will open later this summer in Manvel, according to owner and optometrist Nicola Shatleh. The center will provide evaluations for glasses and contacts, including specialized contacts for those who struggle with regular contacts. The center will also treat:

• Myopia control
• Dry eye
• Glaucoma
• Macular degeneration

Shatleh said the color of her brand is inspired by his child's eye color.

"I'm very family oriented and I look forward to taking care of families," Shatleh said.
