Health Center of Southeast Texas is expected to begin construction March 15 on a new clinic in Roman Forest, according to a Dec. 13 filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The details

According to the filing, the $800,000 project will consist of converting roughly 8,000 square feet of existing retail space into a medical office building.

According to Health Center of Southeast Texas’ website, the medical provider currently operates six clinics in Texas offering a range of specialties, including:
  • Primary care
  • Women’s health services
  • Pediatric care
  • Laboratory work
  • Behavioral health services
