1. Rodeo kick-off parade
Taylor’s Organization will be holding its ninth annual East Montgomery County Fair & Rodeo Kick-off Parade. The event will feature a parade float contest and a variety of participants including motorcycles and horses. Follow the parade from its start at Randall Reed Stadium until its conclusion at A.V. ‘Bull’ Sallas Park.

2. Fiesta Latina
A fiesta featuring Luchador wrestling, music, specialty drinks and family-friendly activities will be held at Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures.
3. Expo 2026
Network with local business owners at the Greater East Montgomery County Chamber’s annual expo. Refreshments and door prizes will be available, and attendees will have a chance to win a free chamber membership. Chamber membership is not required to attend the event. Advanced registration required.

4. Dukes & Boots
Adults age 21 and older are invited to enjoy select waterpark and fairground attractions after hours at Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures. A live DJ will be playing country music, and specialty cocktails will be available for purchase. An ID is required to enter the event.
5. The Heart of the Mission
Mission Northeast's annual fundraiser will include dinner and an "elevated casual" dress code.

6. Easy Steps to Voting
The League of Women Voters of Montgomery County will be presenting information on voting in the county at R.B. Tullis Library. Attendees ages 18 and older are welcome to attend the bilingual class.
7. Chicks & Hogs: BBQ & Brew-Fest
Family Promise Lake Houston is holding a festival featuring a barbecue competition, rodeo obstacle relay, beer tastings, a live animal exhibition, live music, child-friendly activities, an auction and local vendors. Proceeds from the event will help local people experiencing homelessness.

8. Dancing Through the Decades
New Caney New Horizons is hosting its annual fundraiser ball, which will feature dancing, dinner, auctions and door prizes. The organization helps people with developmental disabilities to improve career and life skills.
9. Waterbark Day
Dogs are welcome to enjoy water park activities during this event at Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures. Shallow play areas, dog-only splash zones, treat stations and photo opportunities will be featured at the event. Dogs of all sizes are welcome, but owners must have proof of vaccination for their pet.
