"I am honored that you chose me to represent you on the NCISD board of trustees," Hagler wrote in a statement via social media Nov. 4. "I am blown away by the support I received at the polls. I'd like to thank everyone who promoted me with a sign in their yard or mentioning me in conversation and campaigning for me at the polls. I'm so grateful to have met so many people at each voting location. I can't wait to begin serving our school and each of you as your newest NCISD school board trustee."
