On March 8, the Smoothie King location in Valley Ranch Town Center marked the five-year anniversary since it opened in New Caney, according to a May 6 email from a company representative. The location originally opened in 2020 and is owned by Dave McMahon and Bill Roberton.

Smoothie King serves fruit and protein smoothies in a variety of flavors as well as blended coffee drinks, fruit bowls and juice energy refreshers, according to the company’s website. The business has locations across the globe.
