Montgomery County Precinct 4 officials celebrated the opening of a new park in Grangerland with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Oct. 29.
What to expect
Dubbed Granger Park, the new amenity features the precinct's first GaGa Ball pit, walking trails and a play structure that incorporates a tunnel hill that children can climb through, per an Oct. 13 news release. Officials noted leashed dogs are permitted at the park.
"We're excited to bring something new and different to the Grangerland community," Montgomery County Precinct 4 Commissioner Matt Gray said in a statement. "This park was designed to give families a place to get outside, be active and enjoy time together. We hope it becomes a place the community is proud to call its own."
Officials noted restroom facilities are not available at the park.
