Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care opened Jan. 23 at 30129 Rock Creek Drive, Ste. 200, Kingwood, officials announced via a news release Jan. 23.

The new center offers a wide array of services for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries for patients as young as 6 months old, in addition to on-site X-ray services; COVID-19 testing and treatment; flu vaccines; and sports physicals for children.

"Communities and families benefit from easy access to high-quality health care, when and where they need it," said Dr. Betsy Koickel, who serves as the medical director of Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care. "We feel fortunate to serve the families and residents who live and work amid the abundant trees and lakes of beautiful Kingwood. We look forward to expanding our partnership with Memorial Hermann across the Greater Houston area."

According to the release, the Memorial Hermann Hospital System recently opened additional GoHealth Urgent Care centers in The Heights, Tanglewood and Royal Oaks; additional Greater Houston-area locations are planned to open soon in The Woodlands, Willis and Magnolia Place.

"These centers provide Greater Houston-area residents with an affordable option for safe and efficient health care close to home for non-emergent conditions," said Dr. Michael Bublewicz, who serves as the chief medical officer of Memorial Hermann Health System Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care. "Memorial Hermann's commitment to delivering high-quality care coupled with GoHealth's advanced technology will provide patients of all ages with the best possible health care experience."
