New Caney and Humble ISDs saw stable and lowered active COVID-19 cases in its high school campuses while numbers in other grade levels continued to rise.

New Caney ISD has 70 active cases. Elementary school cases jumped from 12 on Dec. 10 to 30 as of Dec. 17. However, high school cases remained the same at 21.

Humble ISD saw upticks in COVID-19 cases for middle and elementary school students and staff, but its high school cases, which have historically had the highest amount of cases in the district according to data from the district, have dropped from 87 to 57 active cases.
