Amazon is considering opening a delivery station in East Montgomery County, according to a Dec. 14 press release. This 15,000-square-foot station could open as soon as fall of 2021.

When RC Gallegos made his first pizza, he said he thought it was “garbage.” It was not until he went to New York and studied how to make a perfect New York slice that he came back and opened the original RC’s NYC Pizza & Pasta in 2003 in Conroe. The business has since expanded with locations in Kingwood and in The Woodlands area, each serving the same Northeast-inspired pies.

Local business owners Tamara Hamilton and her husband, Jon, opened Just Love Coffee Cafe in Tomball on Nov. 23. In addition to coffee and tea beverages, the cafe also has a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu offering items such as avocado toast, a grilled chicken wrap and artisan waffles.

Austin-based Tiff’s Treats opened its newest store in mid-December in the Cypress Crossing shopping center at 13126 FM 1960, Ste. 145, Houston. The bakery specializes in fresh-baked cookies, brownies and frozen treats.

SafeSplash Swim School will open a new location Jan. 11 at 4030 FM 1463, Katy. The swimming school will offer swim lessons for infants, children and adults. There will also be private lesson options and special-needs services.
