Construction on a new Planet Fitness location in Kingwood is expected to begin in August, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing. Planet Fitness offers access to a variety of workout equipment and fitness training programs. Based out of New Hampshire, the fitness center franchise has more than 2,500 locations throughout the U.S. While a projected opening date has not been announced, construction on the project is expected to wrap up in late November.
