Get a scare at a scarecrow fest

Children’s Lighthouse-Katy Cinco Ranch is hosting a scarecrow fall festival. Find pup time in the park

The city of Katy and Relay for Life are hosting Howl-O-Ween at the Katy Dog Park. Pet owners are encouraged to dress up their pups in a costume and enjoy games and local vendors. 9-11 a.m. Monetary or dog food donation will be accepted for entry. 5414 Franz Road. 281-391-4840.

Dance with active, older adults

Go crazy for Halloween

Crosspoint Community Church is hosting a family-friendly fall festival dubbed “Choose Crazy.” Attendees are encouraged to wear crazy costumes while eating from food trucks, participating in games and shopping at a craft market. Attend a boo bash
Oct. 31
The Lifelong Learning Center, a day center for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is hosting its third annual Special Needs Boo Bash. Snacks and drinks will be available, and there will be a costume contest.
