Katy Taste Fest, which has been on hiatus for two years, is back to show off the diversity of Katy's food community. The festival will be held March 26 at Typhoon Texas, 555 Katy Fort Bend Road, Katy, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

According to a press release, Katy Taste Fest offers samples of dishes from more than 20 local restaurants. A silent auction, cooking demonstrations, live entertainment and a range of family-friendly activities await attendees of all ages. The Katy Taste Fest supports several local charities that work to help vulnerable children and to reduce waste.

General admission tickets start at $50, and VIP tickets are $85.

“We are ecstatic to finally bring Katy Taste Fest back to the community. It has been a long two years since we could celebrate the flavors of Katy together. Our new venue partner, Typhoon Texas, is an incredible space to host the event, and it will help us continue to grow KTF year after year,” KTF event Chair Cyril Thomas said in the press release. “The only thing that Katy loves more than food is giving back to the community. We have granted over $80,000 to charities since 2017, and we can’t wait to continue with the money that we raise from KTF this year.”

The participating restaurants, according to the press release, include The Toasted Yolk Cafe; Whiskey Cake; Beer, Biryani and Kabab; La Argentina Gelato; Pablo's Mexican Kitchen; Kokai; Mala Sichuan Bistro; Chuckwagon BBQ; Pablo’s Restaurant & Club; and more to be announced.
