Dec. 10-12: Light Park

Dec. 10-11: Campfire Christmas at The George Ranch Historical Park

Campfire Christmas is an event to gather a group for an evening under the stars and put visitors in a holiday mood. The evening begins with a light, casual ranch hand supper in the arena, crafts for the kids and other holiday treats. Next guests will board the hayride tram for a short ride to the campfire site in the park. This part of the event includes a singing cowboy, s’mores by the fire and stars overhead. The final stop of the evening is at the Ranch House of Mamie And A.P. George, where a 1940s USO party is in full swing with holiday music, cookies and more.

Dec. 11: Breakfast with Santa

The Oaks will hold a brunch featuring free pancakes for children age 12 and under. In addition, pictures with Santa will be inside the conservatory and the families will be able to take their photos with Santa. A new toy is requested for donations to The Hangar Unity Community Center in Brookshire, a nonprofit that offers programs for at-risk youth and teens, and their families.

Dec. 11: The Farmers Market on Grand Parkway

Dec. 11: Katy Farmers Market

Dec. 11: Community Christmas Play
