Local, national and global leaders are ordering the closure of bars, clubs and gyms, limiting restaurants to takeout and delivery options and limiting gatherings to 10 people.
Below is a noncomprehensive list in alphabetical of Katy and Fulshear businesses changing their operations. This list first appeared here and since has been updated.

- Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant, located at 24600 Katy Freeway, Ste. 1020, Katy is offering takeout, curbside and delivery. The eatery is now closing at 8 p.m.
- Abu Omar Halal, a food truck located at 1950 N. Fry Road, Katy, is open and offering delivery services through Uber Eats and Grubhub. There are no more than five or six people at a time allowed to pick up food as of March 18.
- Alibabba Cuisine, a Mediterranean and Venezuelan fusion restaurant, is offering takeout, pick-up and delivery services through DoorDash, GrubHub and Speedy Food. The eatery is located at 9006 S. Fry Road, Katy.
- Allegiant Gaming, located at 23227 Mercantile Pkwy. Ste. A5, Katy will close midnight March 24. The electronics store will remain closed at least until April 3.
- Algeria, the Brazilian restaurant located at 24449 Katy Freeway, Ste. 700, Katy, is now open until 3 p.m. and is only offering takeout as of March 19. Delivery services within a 10-mile radius will begin March 20.
- Andretti Indoor Karting & Games, 1230 Grand W. Blvd., Katy, has temporarily closed all locations until further notice as of March 17.
- Astor Farm to Table at 1520 S. Mason Road, Katy, is only offering pickup services from 8 a.m.-8:30 p.m. and delivery services from 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Dining in will not be available for at least two weeks. Owner Casey Castro is offering a family special to feed about four people during lunch and dinner. Customers can choose from five specials in South African, Argentinian or Venezuelan cuisine.
- Azul Seafood Tapas, located at 21945 Katy Freeway Ste. C, Katy is offering family meals as well as 15% off all online orders as of April 1.
- Batao Chinese Bistro at 20940 Katy Freeway, Ste. C, Katy, has suspended operations until further notice as of March 21, per a Facebook post.
- As of April 3, Battlehops Brewing, located at 6801 Highway Blvd., Katy, is offering curbside 32 oz beer crawlers as well as wine from ErmaRose Winery and Cast Iron. Guests can also check out free board games.
- Beer Biriyani and Kabab, located at 4747 FM 1463, Ste. 100, Katy is offering pick-up and delivery services as of March 31.
- BIG Z's Pizza House & Brew at 2004 S. Mason Road, Ste. A1, Katy, is offering its menu for delivery, to-go and takeout, according to a March 17 Facebook post.
- Black Bear Diner locations, including one in Katy at 24600 Katy Freeway, Ste. 900, are offering takeout, curbside pickup and delivery through DoorDash, Uber Eats and Postmates platforms, according to a March 19 press release. The restaurants are open 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
- BreakTime Tea Lounge & Bánh mì at 1215 Grand West Blvd., Ste. C5, Katy, was open as of March 24 for takeout and curbside delivery. Specials include 15% off an order.
- Carrabba's Italian Grill located at 6501 S. Fry Road, Ste. 600, Katy, adjusted their hours to close one hour earlier at 9 p.m. and is offering curbside pickup and delivery services.
- Children's Lighthouse Katy-Nottingham, at 20225 Kingsland Blvd., Katy, is operating with normal hours but has been implementing additional health and safety protocols to protect employees, children and guardians, a representative confirmed March 25. Also, this location is offering a 25% discount for its full-time and part-time childcare programs to essential workers, such as those working in civil services, medical, food, retail, distribution and transportation industries.
- Cinemark Theaters is temporarily closed as of March 18 to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Cinemark is extending the expiration date for movie rewards points to June 30 and pausing movie club memberships while theaters remain closed. There is one local theater at 1030 W. Grand Parkway N., Katy.
- Corner 99 at 1215 Grand West Blvd., Bldg. C, Ste. C1, Katy, is open with delivery and curbside pickup options, according to a March 19 Facebook post. It’s also offering beer to go along with its food menu.
- Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que Katy, located at 24205 Katy Freeway, Katy is offering curbside pickup with a minimum of $10 orders and delivery with a minimum of $100 orders as of March 31. There is a 10% delivery fee and only within a 15-mile radius.
- CrossFit 1420, located at 1420 Katy Flewellen Road, Katy, is providing programming and demonstration videos to members online through Facebook and Instagram as of March 26.
- Dairy Queen at 983 S. Mason Road, Katy, is only allowing customers to place to-go orders. The drive-thru is also open. All Texas Dairy Queen locations postponed Free Cone Day on March 17 to avoid large crowds.
- Ding Tea Katy at 23227 Mercantile Parkway, Ste. A3, Katy, is open for takeout and curbside pickup orders only, as of March 17. It also modified its business hours to the following: Sun.-Thurs. noon-7 p.m., Fri.-Sat. noon-8 p.m.
- Dish Society at 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd., Ste. D100, Katy, is serving customers through to-go, curbside and drive-thru options, per a March 17 Facebook post. The brand’s locations have set up makeshift drive-thrus and pickup stations. It also encouraged guests to use the Uber Eats, DoorDash and Favor platforms for delivery.
- As of April 1, Donkey Yaki, located at 23119 Colonial Pkwy, Bldg B, Katy, is offering takeout ad well as delivery services.
- As of March 31, Eight Turn Crepe, located at 23119 Colonial Parkway, Ste. C-8, Katy, is open for carry-out and curbside pickup. Delivery services are available via Doordash and Grubhub. Free gelato is included for all orders.
- El Kourmet has two locations in the Katy area. The Venezuelan restaurant is allowing customers to call food orders for pickup at its drive-thru. It also offer delivery services through GrubHub and Uber Eats. One location is at 25757 Westheimer Parkway, Ste. 100, Katy, and the other at 3939C N. Fry Road, Katy.
- Firehouse Subs restaurants have suspended dining room service, according to a March 19 press release. Instead the restaurants are offering to-go meals, counter service for takeout orders, drive-thru services, online ordering, call-in orders and third-party delivery services. Additionally, the locations have implemented changes to operational procedures to reduce physical contact for guests. The Katy-area has two locations: 25551 Kingsland Blvd., Katy, and 20900 Katy Freeway, Katy.
- First Cup Coffee at 11525 S. Fry Road, Ste. 110, Fulshear, is operating as usual, open for drive-thru and sit-down meals.
- Freebirds World Burrito at 21923 Katy Freeway, Katy, is offering to-go and pickup orders, delivery options and catering, according to a March 23 email from a company representative.
- Freddy's Cafe, located at 16830 Barker Springs Road, Ste. 400, Houston, is offering pickup and delivery services as of April 1. Delivery within a 5-mile radius is free. No contact delivery is an option if specified upon ordering.
- Fusion Grill, at 1453 S. Mason Road, Katy, opens at 4 p.m. every day for pickup and delivery, according to a March 22 Facebook post. Hungry customers can call 281-717-8935 to place an order or use the Speedy Food application, which has a 12-mile radius for delivery.
- GiAu Bar n Bites at 1215 Grand West Blvd.,Ste. C7, Katy, was open for carryout orders only as of March 17.
- Golden China at 26440 FM 1093, Ste. B150, Richmond, is offering takeout services only. Dine-in and delivery options are not available.
- Golden Eagle Taekwondo closed its physical location at 6420 FM 1463 Ste. 400, Katy, but it continues to offer live training classes via Zoom as of March 25. Members can also log in to access prerecorded curriculum.
- Great Harvest, located at 1623 S. Fry Road, Katy, will continue its normal hours of operations as of March 27, and will offer curbside pick-up, drive-thru and to-go orders.
- As of March 25, Handlebar Cyclery located at 24948 FM 1093, Ste. 220, Katy, is still open as it is considered an essential business. Only groups of two or less are allowed and customers are encouraged to refrain from touching items in the store and bringing children if possible. The shop is also doing curbside pickup and drop-off.
- Happy Day Daiquiris at 20660 Westheimer Parkway, Katy, has been offering its full menu to-go since March 16, though the business did cancel its crawfish boil on March 28. Happy Day Daiquiris sells alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks
- HotBits: Indian Tasty Bites at 25230 FM 1093, Ste. B, Katy, was closed Tuesday, March 17, when online hours suggest the restaurant is normally open.
- As of March 30, the second location of Italian Maid Cafe at Cross Creek Ranch is closed, but preparing to-go meals out of the 300 Morton Street, Richmond location. The European-inspired eatery is delivering to Cross Creek Ranch, Fulshear and surrounding areas.
- The Growler Spot, located at 29615 FM 1093 Rd, Ste. 4, Fulshear, is offering craft beers to-go as of March 31.
- The Hub on 1st, at 5614 First St,, Katy, is offering short-term, reduced memberships for its cowering spaces as of March 19 through the end of April. Owner Tara Wilson said she is limiting the number of members to ensure safe social distancing practices to accommodate those in our community who must continue to work and need a space to do so. Monthly memberships are currently reduced to $120 per month and dedicated desks to $200 per month. This offer is only for The Hub on 1st, as The Hub on 4th is full, Wilson said.
- Tracey's Fajita Restaurant, 21040 Highland Knolls Drive, Katy, is offering delivery and pickup services as of March 31.
- Jersey Mike's Subs at 6445 FM 1463, Ste. 200, Katy, is only accepting takeout orders, but customers can go inside to place orders.
- Jimmy Changas, located at 300 Westgreen Blvd, Katy, is offering delivery and pick-up services as of March 30.
- Kabob Korner, located at 557 S. Mason Road, Katy is offering to-go and delivery services as of March 31.
- Katy Busy Bee offers services in producing local raw honey and beehive removal. As of March 26, the business remains open as it is an essential business in pest control and agriculture.
- Katy Mills is closed effective 7 p.m. March 18 through March 29, according to a press release from the mall’s owner, Simon Property Group.
- As of March 25, Katy Printers, located at 5807 Hwy Blvd, Katy, is still open customers, some of which are in essential industries.
- Kinokuniya Bookstore, located at 23330 Grand Circle Blvd., Ste. 140, Katy, closed March 21 and will remain closed until further notice. Home delivery services for magazine subscriptions will not change, but pickup services for special orders and magazine subscriptions will not be available.
- Kurrywalah Fine Indian Cuisine at 1830 S. Mason Road, Ste. 165, Katy is offering to-go orders and delivery services through Uber Eats, GrubHub and Speedy Food.
- La Argentina Gelato, located at 3750 S Mason Road, Ste. 200, Katy is offering free delivery services as of March 30.
- LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch, located at 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd., Katy, has temporarily modified its shopping center hours beginning March 17, per its website. The new hours are: Mon.-Sat. 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sun. noon-6 p.m. LaCenterra urged guests to call ahead to specific tenants before visiting to check whether their hours are different.
- La Estancia Italian Restaurant, located at 5361 E. Fifth St, Katy, is offering pickup orders only. Regular-size meals and family trays are available.
- Both La Finca Mexican Restaurant locations in the Katy area are operating business as usual until ordered to do otherwise. Customers can request curbside pickup. One location is at 23930 Westheimer Parkway, Ste. 108, Katy, and the other is at 6734 N. Westheimer Lakes N. Drive, Ste. 106, Katy.
- La Hacienda Real at 11605 S. Fry Road, Ste. 101, Fulshear, is offering pickup, takeout and to-go food and margarita orders as of March 20. At the time, the delivery service was temporarily unavailable.
- LAVO natural nails at 11525 S. Fry Road, Ste. 104, Fulshear, is temporarily closed, according to a March 25 email from owner Trang Martin. It has been closed since March 21, and according to its website, it plans to reopen April 3. However, guests can purchase online orders for beauty products at Farmhouse Fresh's website. LAVO is offering a free hand cream on all orders over $30 by using the code LAVO. Additionally, the salon is offering e-gift cards on the site, and 15% of each e-gift card sale will go to LAVO’s staff.
- Leap Dance Center, located at 10452 Gaston Road, Katy, is offering virtual classes via Zoom as of March 26 until the COVID-19 situation improves.
- Living Earth, located at 27733 Katy Freeway, Katy, remains open as of March 25, as it is considered an essential business. All Living Earth locations are being disinfected twice a day, according to a March 22 Facebook post. Living Earth is also taking employees’ temperature and sending anyone home with an elevated temperature. The mulch supplier shortened hours of operation: Mon.-Fri. 7 a.m.-3 p.m., Sat. 7 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Luna y Sol Mexican Grill at 9115 FM 723, Ste. 500, Richmond, near Fulshear, is offer to-go orders, according to a March 22 Facebook post. Family packs are available as well as curbside pickup. Call 281-762-7588 to place an order and pay over the phone.
- The Main Event entertainment center located at 24401 Katy Freeway, Katy is temporarily closed as of March 24.
- Mala Authentic Chinese Cuisine, located at 5803 N. Fry Road, Ste. 103, Katy, is offering pickup and delivery services, and can further accommodate contact-free services as of April 3.
- Meng's Martial Arts of Katy, located at 25311 Kingsland Blvd., Ste. 200, Katy, is offering online Zoom classes for members six days per week as of March 26. The martial arts gym is also recording their oral teachings in philosophy, history and culture, which area followed up with test questions, at least twice per week.
- As of March 30, MOD Pizza is offering free delivery online or from the MID app until April 2. There are two locations in the Katy area, one in 6825 S. Fry Road, Ste. 1100, Katy. and another at 5102 FM 1463 Ste. 800, Katy.
- Monkey Joe's is temporarily closed March 21-April 3. The children's entertainment center is located at 511 S. Mason Road, Katy.
- Orleans Seafood Kitchen at 20940 Katy Freeway, Katy, is offering a 10% discount for curbside pickup orders in additional to its regular daily specials, according to a March 25 press release. Delivery options are available through Speedy Food, DoorDash and Chownow. The restaurant also changed its hours: Mon.-Sun. Noon-9 p.m.
- Page by Page Graphic Design is offering curbside delivery for all print jobs as well as video and audio strategy call services as of March 25.
- Palinuro Italian Cuisine, located at 27131 Cinco Ranch Blvd., Ste. 650, Katy is still offering to-go orders and delivery services.
- Pane e Vino at 8945 S. Fry Road, Ste. A, Katy, will continue operating at regular times but will start implementing to-go and free delivery services within a 7-mile radius. Deliveries further than 7 miles will incur a $5 charge.
- Pappa Gyros, located at 23255 Kingsland Blvd, is offering drive-thru, takeout, curbside and delivery services through UberEats as of April 1.
- Patsy’s Pet Market, 1644 S. Mason Road, Katy, has adjusted its hours and is offering curbside pickup, according to its website as of March 19. Customers are encouraged to call ahead and allow at least 30 minutes for staff to fulfill the order. The business also offers express delivery for pet food and supplies with a minimal order of $49. Patsy’s new hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Peli Peli locations will only offer curbside, takeout and delivery until March 23. The Katy-area South African restaurant is located at 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd., Ste. R140, Katy.
- Perry's Steakhouse & Grille is offering its to-go menu for curbside pickup at 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd., Ste. Q100, Katy, according to a March 16 Facebook post. Two-course lunches are available Mon.-Sun. 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Three-course dinners are available Mon.-Sat. 11 a.m.-10 p.m. and Sun. 11 a.m.- 9 p.m.
- Phat Eatery at 23119 Colonial Parkway, Ste. B2, Katy, is offering delivery services and 15% off all takeout orders until the end of March as of March 16.
- Pier 36 Seafood & Oyster Bar at 8502 FM 359, Fulshear, has started offering curbside pickup and removed tables inside to practice social distancing at about 50% capacity. Staff is also frequently disinfecting menus and all areas with bleach water.
- Pizza Bella, located at 1306 Pin Oak Road, Katy, is offering to-go services and delivery via GrubHub and other delivery apps as of March 26.
- Pure Soccer, located at 25730 Westheimer Parkway, Katy, is temporarily closed as of March 27, but it plans to reopen April 3. In the meantime, the training facility is providing online soccer skills and challenges on their social media channels for children to try at home.
- Ramble Creek Grill, located at 7930 W Grand Pkwy South Ste. 100, Richmond, is offering delivery and curbside pickup as of April 1.
- Red River BBQ & Grill located at 1711 S Mason Road, Katy, is offering pickup and delivery services as of April 1.
- ROKO Grill, located at 406 West Grand Parkway S, Ste. 340, Katy, is offering free delivery with orders of $30 or more as of March 31.
- Rosati's Pizza at 9111 FM Road, Ste. 250, Richmond, is offering pickup, no-contact delivery and curbside pickup. Sit-down service is still available with plenty of space to sit at a distance from other customers as of March 17, until instructed to do otherwise.
- Saigon Basil Restaurant, located at 8710 Grand Mission Blvd Ste. l, Richmond, is offering delivery services and drive-thru pickup as of April 3.
- Salata at 1230 N. Mason Road, Ste. 200, Katy, is still accepting sit-down customers as of March 17 but is temporarily changing operation hours to Mon.-Sat. 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sun. 11 a.m.-5 p.m. It is also offering free delivery from March 16-22.
- Salon Victoria Make-up and Hair Lounge, at 23223 Red River Drive, Katy, is temporarily closed until April 4, according to its website as of March 26. Customers can call the business to purchase gift cards.
- Spring Creek Barbecue, located at 26802 FM 1093, Katy is offering delivery and curbside pickup as of April 1.
- The coffee shop Serene Beans, located at 5609 3rd St, Katy, is only taking to-go orders as of March 24.
- Smokehouse at Typhoon Texas, 555 Katy Fort Bend Road, Katy, is offering curbside pickup family meals starting March 24, according to a March 23 press release. The first 100 orders will include free water park tickets. The family meal includes brisket, sausage, pulled pork, potato salad, beans and rolls and feeds about 4-6 people for $59.99. Other menu options include menu entrees, meat plates and loaded baked potatoes. A children’s meal is free with a menu entree through March 31. It is open daily 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4 p.m.-8 p.m.
- Spring Creek Barbeque locations at 21000 Katy Freeway, Katy, and 26802 FM 1093, Katy, are open for sit-down and takeout services.
- Stage Stores' brands have adjusted their store operating hours, per a March 18 press release. The new hours are Mon.-Sat. 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sun. noon to 6 p.m. The Katy area has one Palais Royal location at 6729 S. Fry Road, Katy.
- Sur Latin Peruvian Cuisine at 19901 Kingsland Blvd., Ste A, Houston, is offering takeout, curbside pickup and free delivery for its menu, according to a March 26 Facebook post.
- Taco Cabana is offering free delivery through April 3 through the MyTC! App, www.tacocabana.com and Uber Eats. The dining is temporarily closed until further notice, but the front counter and drive-thru remain open from 6 a.m.-10 p.m. There are two locations in the Katy area.
- Tea Top Katy, located at 23119 Colonial Pkwy, Ste. C7, Katy, is offering delivery services and online order discounts as of March 30 and until the end of the quarantine period.
- Texadelphia’s Katy location at 1321 N. Westgreen Blvd., Ste. 500, Katy, is offering 15% off catering orders; 10% off all to-go orders and curbside pickups; and double points to its TexNation members, according to a March 23 email from a representative of the company. A March 25 press release announced that Texadelphia will offer additional discouts to its TexNation members, such as a buy one, get one cheesesteak free with to-go orders March 24-30 and a free children's meal with the purchase of an adult meal between March 31-April 6.
- Texas Borders Bar & Grill is offering its food and drink menu for to-do orders, curbside pickup and delivery via DoorDash and Speedy Food, as of March 26. It is also offering various daily discounts and deals. The restaurant has two locations in the Katy area. One is at 20940 Katy Freeway, Ste. H, Katy, and the other—which is offering free meals to Fort Bend County law enforcement and Fulshear Police Department—is at 26440 FM 1093 Rd, Ste 400, Richmond.
- Texas Roadhouse, located at 20840 Katy Freeway, Katy has family meal packs, ready-to-grill steaks, margaritas and beer available for pickup as of April 3.
- Texas Tradition at 5321 Highway Blvd., Ste. 1306, Katy, is taking takeout orders, which will be delivered to customer vehicles.
- Thai Spice Asian Gourmet located at 1420 Mason Road, Ste. 170, Katy, is taking to-go orders only. Delivery services are available through online platforms, such as DoorDash, Uber Eats and GrubHub.
- The Toasted Yolk Cafe is offering its full menu—including alcoholic drinks such as bloody marys and mimosas— for curbside carryout as well as devilery via UrberEats, per a March 25 press release. The brand is also offering its employees four to-go meals each day. The Katy area has a location at 98 W. Grand Parkway S., Ste. 100.
- Tobiuo Sushi & Bar at 23501 Cinco Ranch, Ste. H130, Katy, is offering preset meals and its full menu—with a 20% discount—for to-go orders and curbside pickup, per a March 17 Facebook post. The business has also canceled its events, including a maki class March 26 and a fish box dinner March 31.
- Toddy Oaks at 20120 Franz Road, Katy, is offering drinks to go via drive-thru since at least March 20, according to its Facebook page. Its hours as of March 24 are as follows: Sun.-Thurs. Noon-10 p.m., Fri.-Sat. noon-midnight
- Top Golf, located at 1030 Memorial Brook Blvd., Katy, announced March 19 all U.S. venues will remain closed until further notice to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
- Tropical Diner West, a Jamaican restaurant, is located at 3111 N. Fry Road, Katy, and is offering takeout as well as delivery services through online platforms, such as GrubHub and Uber Eats.
- Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park at 25307 Kingsland Blvd., Katy, is temporarily closed as of March 17 to promote social distancing in the fight against COVID-19.
- Victor's Mexican Grille at 8525 FM 359, Ste. 300, Fulshear, is only offering curbside delivery and takeout for meals and margaritas, per a March 18 Facebook post. It is also offering family packs, which include various sides with dishes. Its new hours are as follows: Sun.-Mon. 10 a.m.-8:30 p.m., Tue.-Thu. 10 a.m.-9 p.m., Fri.-Sat. 10 a.m.-9:30 p.m.
- Villasport Athletic Club and Spa, located at 9930 Gaston Road, Katy, has temporarily closed as of March 17, according to a March 17 press release. The fitness club is offering virtual group exercise classes that can be completed at home.
- Yai’s Thai Kitchen, located at 7035 W Grand Pkwy South Ste., 90, Richmond, is offering pickup options through Doordash, UberEats, Grubhub and Postmates . Customers receive automatic discounts if orders are placed directly through their website or a call.
- Yummy Seafood and Oyster Bar, located at 23119 Colonial Parkway, Ste. A14, Houston, is offering free delivery within a 5-mile radius, and its accepting payments via Venmo or Zelle if customers contact the restaurant via Facebook. Delivery ends at 8 p.m. as of March 30.
