Local resident and owner of The Union Kitchen, Jax Grill plans to bring restaurants to Katy

Two new inner-loop restaurants, The Union Kitchen and Jax Grill, are coming to Katy.

Katy resident Paul Miller will open his sixth Union Kitchen restaurant and third Jax Grill restaurant at the Stableside at Falcon Landing located near Gaston Road in Katy in 2019, according to a press release.

The Union Kitchen will boast 5,000 square feet and seat 450, while Jax Grill will occupy 4,000 square feet and seat 350. According to the release, both will feature large patios with outdoor seating.

The restaurants will break ground later this year, and construction is expected to be completed by early 2019, according to the release.

“The Katy area has been growing for a long time, and we really feel like with the demographics and the families that we have out here, it will be a good fit for our concepts,” Miller said in the release. “We’re very connected and committed to the communities and neighborhoods that we serve, and we look forward to continuing that in Katy.”
