A closer look

In the 12 days of early voting Oct. 21-Nov. 1, over 53% of registered voters in Fort Bend County cast their ballots. This falls short of the 62% of voters who cast ballots in the last presidential election in November 2020, which had a longer early voting period due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Harris County also saw more ballots cast early in the 2020 general election, where 88% of early votes were cast in person, with more citizens taking advantage of voting by mail.
