Why are you running for Texas House District 132?

It’s time that the average worker in HD 132 has a voice in Austin that can represent their families in a positive way. As a working father of a 22 year old and educator, I know the difficulties this district faces financially and educationally. Unfortunately, we have no voice right …

What is your top priority if elected to represent the citizens of District 132?

Education has to be first. In [Cy-Fair] ISD, we have to make sure that kids can get to and from school safely, plus, we also have to make sure that they have access to libraries with books of many different genres so that they can learn more about their own interests.

What do you think is the most pressing issue for local residents, and what will you do to address it?

Education seems to be the top issue in Cypress. I plan to push to release excess funds so that the school district can functionally operate without any voucher scams. In Katy, health care seems to be a more pressing issue and I plan to fight for universal health care from Day 1.

What is something you believe that the state should prioritize in the next legislative session?

Reversing the abortion ban.
