Two major businesses have been signed to the Barker Cypress Marketplace at 6960 Barker Cypress Road, Houston, near the FM 529 intersection.

A 21,000-square-foot Planet Fitness is opening mid-to-late-April at the marketplace. Membership gives guests unlimited access to the 24-hour gym, including class options such as the Planet Fitness 360 full-body workout and a 12-minute ab session.

Classes at the new facility will be limited to a maximum of five people, and a personal trainer will also be on staff, according to Planet Fitness representatives. 281-972-0539.

A CVS/pharmacy is also under construction and will open in the third quarter of 2016, according to officials with Moseley Commercial Real Estate who leased the space. The CVS, which is taking the site where an H-E-B was formerly located, will offer beauty and personal care items, vitamins, medicine and home health care items.
