Duchess Restaurant and Bar, a coastal-inspired restaurant, opened its first location on Uptown Park Boulevard in Houston. The restaurant, according to a news release Feb. 22, is a contemporary venue serving coastal food inspired by cultures from around the world, such as Mediterranean, Asian and South American.

The menu includes dishes such as grilled octopus with truffle potato croquettes, a roasted seafood platter with oysters, mussels, lobster and tiger prawn, and the Duchess Rose, a white chocolate mousse with strawberry compote and elderflower foam.
