Officials with Cy-Fair Helping Hands announced in a Feb. 22 news release the nonprofit will soon relocate from 9606 Kirkton Drive, Houston.

The organization was founded in 2010 to serve the homeless and hungry in northwest Harris County. It offers a food pantry for families in need, serves students in Cy-Fair ISD and provides street outreach to local homeless individuals, among other programs and services.

"With impending new ownership, our current location is no longer sustainable, but the Emmott Road location will bring our programs closer to more people who need help. We will still be within CFISD and will still be serving the 14 ZIP codes of CFISD, just from a location a little further down [Hwy.] 290,” Executive Director Janet Ryan said in the release.

Ryan said the new facility has 10,000 square feet of space for operations and has room for future growth.

CFHH will pause operations the week of March 18 before reopening at the new site.
