Houston has something to offer the entire family this weekend. Here are seven events to consider adding to your calendar:
Oct. 6-9: The Original Greek Festival
This festival highlights Greek culture through traditional food, crafts, art and gifts. Food at the festival includes Greek dishes such as baklava, tsoureki and dolmades. Each night features traditional Greek dancing reflecting the customs and cultures of Greece. Cathedral tours are also offered throughout the festival. 5-10 p.m. (Oct. 6), 11 a.m.-3 p.m., 5-10 p.m. (Oct. 7), 11 a.m.-10 p.m. (Oct. 8), noon-6 p.m. (Oct. 9). $5. Oct. 6-7, 9: 'Mamma Mia!'
The Hobby Center performs the hit musical "

Oct. 7: Hocus Pocus Pops Concert

Oct. 8: Zomball in Tomball
The annual Halloween bash features a giant trick-or-treat celebration for children courtesy of local vendors and organizations. Oct. 8: 2016 Houston AfriFest
Hosted by the Nigerian-American Multicultural Council, African cultures are celebrated through ethnic cuisines, live performances, fashion shows, artwork, country displays, games and children’s activities. 11 a.m.-8 p.m. $5 (adults), free (children, students and seniors). Oct. 8-9: Bayou City Art Festival
The 45th annual outdoor festival features works from more than 300 artists, food trucks, live music and a kids’ zone. McAllen’s Dania Olivares, the event’s featured artist, will showcase work made of recycled materials. 10 a.m.-6 p.m. $15-$35. Houston City Hall, 901 Bagby St., Houston.

Oct. 8-9: Dragon Boat Regatta
