MD Anderson Cancer Center is bringing a new diagnostic imaging clinic to the northwest Houston area, according to a project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The 45,113-square-foot facility is being built at the site of a former 24 Hour Fitness location off Hwy. 249 and Jones Road.

The specifics

Documents show the project is expected to cost $25.7 million and will include a breast center in addition to diagnostic imaging services. Construction is slated to wrap up in early 2026.

According to the website, MD Anderson diagnostic imaging services are for current patients, those who believe they may have cancer or have a confirmed diagnosis, and women needing breast evaluations or breast cancer screenings.
