A series of eight workshops will be held across Harris County Precinct 3 from April 15-Aug. 22 to help residents understand how traffickers and predators use technology to exploit victims and what parents can do to keep their loved ones safe, according to a news release.

No registration is required for the workshops, which will be held at all Precinct 3 community centers.

Workshops will take place at the following locations and times:
  • Juergen’s Hall Community Center: April 15 at 4 p.m.
  • Cactus Jack Cagle Community Center: April 23 at 1 p.m.
  • Barrett Station Community Center: May 12 at 6:30 p.m.
  • San Jacinto Community Center: June 3 at 6 p.m.
  • Trini Mendenhall Community Center: June 17 at 11 a.m.
  • May Community Center: July 8 at 10 a.m.
  • Crosby Community Center: Aug. 11 at 6 p.m.
  • George H.W. Bush Community Center: Aug. 22 at 1 p.m.
