Local restaurant Texas Mesquite Grill is celebrating 10 years in business this October.

Owner Austin Yates said the eatery held a private dinner with its regulars to commemorate the milestone. Additionally, the business is celebrating throughout the month of October with the following specials:
  • Shrimp tacos for $11.95
  • Fried shrimp with fries for $11.95
  • Shrimp po’boy with fries for $11.95

Texas Mesquite Grill specializes in regional cuisine, with appetizers such as cowboy nachos, quesadillas and quail bites. Wings, tacos, burgers, fajitas, chicken, seafood, steak, chicken fried steak and ribs are also on the menu.

The restaurant also offers Sunday brunch, family-sized to-go meals, catering and a full bar with happy hour Mon.-Fri. from 3-6:30 p.m.
