The all-natural sugarcane juice at JB Pho and Grill skips the frills of added sugar and toppings by providing natural sweetness and flavor with just one ingredient: sugarcane.
The drink is machine-juiced and strained sugarcane juice with no additional components. It is available for $3.99 for the small size and $4.99 for a large cup.
JB Pho and Grill, which opened Oct. 21 on Barker Cypress Road, offers a variety of Vietnamese cuisine and drinks, including banh mi, pho, fried rice and grilled pork dishes. Weekday specials include $5 pho on Mondays and $5 bun dishes on Wednesdays.
Manager Jerry Huynh said the drink is distinct because of its rarity.
“No one else around here makes it, just us,” Huynh said. “It’s made from scratch [with] refreshing, all-natural ingredients.”
Tea options with tapioca additions include milk tea and Thai green tea.
