On Dec. 27, Republican incumbent James Noack withdrew his lawsuit to have Lore Breitmeyer Jones removed from the 2020 Democratic primary ballot for Precinct 3 commissioner in Montgomery County, according to a news release from Jones.

Noack had sought to compel Democratic Party Chair Marc Meyer to reject Jones’ filing and remove her from the March Democratic primary election ballot, Community Impact Newspaper previously reported. Noack alleges that Jones submitted her candidate application to Meyer after the state's filing deadline.
