Following the victory, Toth remarked on his tentative plans for the upcoming legislative session.
“We’re going to work really hard next session,” Toth said, noting that priorities include passing a Secure Classroom Act and the Classroom Teachers' Bill of Rights, which he said would be a companion bill to state Sen. Brandon Creighton’s Senate bill..
“We’re going to work really hard to garner the trust of teachers to support this legislation and make sure teachers can go into the classroom ... and not fear being assaulted," Toth said. "We’re going to work on property tax relief, and to secure our southern border."

Steve Toth has won the Republican primary for Texas House District 15, and no Democratic challenger filed in the March primary to face him in the November election.
Toth received 15,960 votes in the March 5 election, or 65.59% of the vote, with all 113 Montgomery County precincts reporting. Challenger Skeeter Hubert, who serves on the Conroe ISD board of trustees, received 8,372 votes, or 34.41% of the vote.

With about 20% of Montgomery County precincts reporting at 10:35 p.m. on March 5, incumbent Steve Toth retained his lead in the Republican primary race for Texas House District 15, with about 67% of the vote, or 10,038 votes. Opponent Skeeter Hubert commanded 33% of the votes cast, or 4,950 votes.

Incumbent Steve Toth is leading the March 5 Republican primary race for Texas House District 15 with 68.12% of votes, according to unofficial early voting and absentee voting results.
The overview
Toth is challenged by Skeeter Hubert as the Republican candidate to represent Texas House District 15. There is no Democratic primary race in Montgomery County for this position.
As of 7:17 p.m. on March 5, Toth has received 9,096 votes, or 68.12% of the vote, while Hubert has received 4,257 votes, or 31.88% of ballots cast in early and absentee voting.
All results are unofficial until canvassed.

According to a Q&A Community Impact held with the candidates, Toth is a member of the Texas House Appropriations Committee and a small-business owner. According to his campaign website, Toth was first elected to Texas House District 15 in 2012, and he was re-elected in 2018 and 2020. Hubert is president of the Conroe ISD board of trustees, and according to a Q&A with Community Impact, he has 25 years of community service in The Woodlands area and is a financial and insurance professional.
