The Willis ISD board of trustees approved its 2025-26 school year calendar with a 7-0 vote at its Feb. 12 meeting.

The district sent a survey to parents, administrators, teachers and community members, and the board also reviewed the calendar that Conroe ISD had approved for comparison purposes, district officials said.
Based on the survey data, two drafts were made, and the one chosen mirrors the current 2024-25 school year calendar.
