On Sept. 1, Montgomery ISD’s high school sports will kick off with the first games of the 2023-24 school year, putting the district’s new ticketing process to the test.

What you need to know

MISD has adopted a cashless ticketing process for the school year, which began Aug. 10. According to an Aug. 7 news release from the district:
  • Tickets to home games can now be purchased after 8 a.m. the day of the game via Etix links, which are posted on MISD’s website.
  • Gamegoers can sign up to receive text reminders for when tickets become available.
What’s next

The first teams to begin their 2023-24 season are the volleyball teams for Lake Creek and Montgomery high schools as well as the football team for Montgomery High School, which all have home games Sept. 1, according to MISD’s news release. Lake Creek High School's first home football game is scheduled for Sept. 8.
