Lone Star College System's spring semester is set to start Jan. 17, the college system announced in a Nov. 21 news release. Open enrollment began Oct. 10 for spring 2023, according to the college system.
LSC campuses include a variety of classes to choose from, including accounting, arts, business and criminal justice, communications, English, math and economics. Noncredit programs are also available for those interested in joining the workforce, according to the release.
Angelina Gamez, a first-time college student and nursing major, said in the release she chose LSC-Montgomery because of its accessibility and options.
“Lone Star College made college less scary for me and offered many accessible programs, tutors, services, professors and more,” she said. “Lone Star College has provided me with a valuable and challenging education and has opened doors for me financially.”
