Conroe ISD began the search for a new name for an elementary school in the Caney Creek feeder zone at the board of trustees virtual meeting May 19.

Set to open in August 2021, the school can be named after prominent figures who have served the district or community, geographical features, major figures in the arts or education, national or state heroes, or prominent donors. Community members may submit names online through June 12. The board of trustees will consider the names at its June 16 meeting.
