Editor's note: This story has been updated to reflect Stacie McKaughan is the manager of the restaurant.

Crepes of Brittany will be opening later this year along Hwy. 105 in Montgomery, manager Stacie McKaughan confirmed.

McKaughan and her husband Dan, who is the restaurant's owner, both graduated from Montgomery High School, she said.

“Our hearts’ desire is to serve this community, not just with good food and a place to feel at peace, but also outside the walls of our shop in whatever capacity the community needs,” McKaughan said.

Crepes of Brittany is a veteran-owned business that will specialize in French crepes, McKaughan said.

“Our sweet and savory crêpes contain fresh ingredients and are made to order,” McKaughan said. “We also serve croissants and pastries imported from France, sandwiches on the best baguette you’ll ever eat, and house-made French onion soup.”

The Montgomery location will be the first licensee of the Monterey, California-based Crepes of Brittany, McKaughan said.

“The owners, Thierry and Daniel, are both passionate about their French heritage, and the commitment they make to providing guests at their shop a truly unique dining experience shows in the authenticity of their crepes, pastries, sandwiches and soup,” McKaughan said. “We aim to bring their dedication to and excitement for their craft to our hometown.”
