Wichita-based Chick N Max opened May 8 in Willis at 12312 I-45 as the first Texas location for the franchise. The fast-casual eatery offers its signature almond wood-smoked chicken wings, leg quarters, breast quarters and half chickens as well as fried chicken tenders and sandwiches, including the maple bacon sandwich. The menu also includes kids meals, a chicken-and-waffle platter, homestyle sides—such as white cheddar mac and cheese—and the club salad.

Chick N Max has three restaurants in Wichita, Kansas, and has eateries planned in Fulshear and Magnolia, Texas.
