4 businesses, apartments and a park coming to Woodforest's Pine Market

Editor's note: The June 3 opening for the Park at Pine Market has been cancelled. This story has been updated to remove Echoed Arts & Design Studio, which is no longer planned for Pine Market as of April 20.

Multiple businesses, multifamily complexes and a park are opening soon at Pine Market, the 40-acre town center of the Woodforest master-planned community in Montgomery.

“We envisioned Pine Market to be a small-town Main Street where people from across the area could gather, dine and shop,” said Virgil Yoakum, senior vice president and general manager of Woodforest, in an April 3 news release. “That vision is being realized and will only come into sharper focus in the months ahead.”

Eat

1. Twisted Oak Bar + Kitchen is anticipated to open this summer as of an April 13 news release. Owners Rommel Gonzalez and George Best will open the upscale restaurant offering lunch, brunch and dinner with more than 400 items, craft cocktails and a wine list.
2. Jeremiah's Italian Ice is slated to open this spring in Pine Market, according to a release from Woodforest. The store will open at 901 Pine Market Ave. and serve up more than 40 Italian ice flavors swirled with soft-serve ice cream, according to information from Pine Market.
3. Tosca Italian Gourmet is expected to open this fall in Pine Market. The locally owned bakery serves Tuscan products, including pastries, breads, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, coffee, cakes, gelato and specialty items.

1. The Vic at Woodforest—located across the street from Pine Market—includes 300 apartments as well as a pool with a swim-up bar, a fitness center, a dog park and a pickleball court, according to a release. According to its website, The Vic is preleasing and expected to open this spring.
2. The Lofts at Pine Market includes 51 units above first-floor retail in Pine Market, offering urban-style apartments for residents ages 55 and older, according to a release. An opening date was not available.

Relax

1. Bespoke Cigar Lounge is a cigar shop and member cigar lounge expected to open this summer as of April 3. Owned by Jason Johnson, Bespoke Cigar Lounge will open at 870 New Day Ave., Ste. 100, Montgomery.
2. Guests can also enjoy the Park at Pine Market, a gathering space for events, concerts and yoga classes—among other activities—that is in the works to open this summer.
