The Vue will be a 10-acre park in The Crest that will include a third pool, a 4,000-square-foot open pavilion and a commercial kitchen, where Woodforest will host events, according to the release. The new amenity will include an open lawn that will connect to nature trails that lead to the Forest Island tennis and aquatics center.
In the future, the park could include a second dog park and a disc golf course, according to the release.
“This new amenity is a welcome addition to the many amenities the nearly 12,000 residents of Woodforest already enjoy,” said Virgil Yoakum, Woodforest's vice president and general manager. “The Vue will not only give residents added access to our most popular types of amenities, it will bring something entirely new to the community.”
According to the release, The Crest includes homes from Chesmar Homes, Highland Homes, Lennar, Perry Homes and Westin Home with 40-, 50- and 55-foot homesites.
In the future, the developer intends to release new 55-foot homesites to builders Highland Homes, Perry Homes and Westin Homes, according to the release.
