Montgomery County reports highest COVID-19 active cases fourth day in a row

Montgomery County has reported 778 active cases June 26, an increase from June 25's 763, according to a daily case update from the county's health district. This is the county's highest active case count to date and the fourth day in a row of record highs.

There are 19 Montgomery County residents who are hospitalized for coronavirus, an increase of four since June 15, according to the Montgomery County Public Health District. There are 127 total COVID-19 patients in Montgomery County hospitals, an increase of 15 since June 25, with 27 in the ICU and 100 in general beds.

Meanwhile, 1,138 Montgomery County residents have recovered.

The number of total positive cases in the county has increased by 63 since June 25
to 1,952.

There was a slight decrease in the seven-day new case average.
