Be May Salon officials announced plans to open in Woodforest in mid-June in a May 17 news release. The salon will bring upscale nail and beauty services, owner Larry Pham said in the release.

"The community does not currently have an upscale beauty salon that can offer one-stop shopping for all beauty service needs," Pham said in the release. "We're glad to be the first full-scale beauty service provider to serve the community."

The salon's first location is in Spring.

The new location will feature 20-30 technicians, Pham said, with services that include manicures, pedicures, waxing, facials, massages, a beauty and body wellness spa, IV Fusion, and more. Services will be offered for women and men.

"We have seen a lot more men come to the nail salon for manicures and pedicures nowadays," Pham said. "Plus, we have a wide range of wellness and body services offered by our independent service providers for men."

The Woodforest site will include a 4,000-square-foot nail salon with a private party room. Be May Salon will also include a 3,500-square-foot area where independent contractors can rent space to provide other health and beauty services.

Woodforest's Pine Market is located at 791 Fish Creek Thoroughfare, Montgomery. www.bemaysalon.com
