Bay Area residents will have plenty on their ballots come Election Day on Nov. 6.
Those living in southeast Houston will be able to vote on two propositions. One would allow the city of Houston create a fund for drainage projects, and the other would allow for fire department raises to match police wages—an estimated $296 million cost.
League City has candidates in five races.
Two, including incumbent Pat Hallisey, are running for mayor. Another two, including incumbent Nick Long, are running for League City City Council Position 7.
Three are running for Position 6 to replace incumbent Keith Gross, who is not running for re-election. Position 1 Council Member Dan Becker has hit his term limit, so he is also not running, and two are gunning for his seat.
Position 2 Council Member Hank Dugie is running unopposed for re-election.
