Four candidates who ran for League City City Council won their seats on
Election Day, but one race will be determined during a Dec. 18 runoff election.
Chad Tressler will face Chris Gross for Position 6 on the council. On Election Day, Tressler won about 47 percent of the vote, and Gross won about 33 percent.
A third candidate, Silvio Vincenzo, won about 20 percent. A runoff election is required between the top two candidates because no one received 50 percent or more of the votes.
Early voting will run from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Dec. 10-14 at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center Civic, 400 W. Walker St. Polls will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on Dec. 18 at the following locations:
- Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center
- Hometown Heroes Park, 2105 Dickinson Ave.
- Regal Estates, 500 Enterprise Ave.
- Creekside Intermediate, 4320 W. Main St.
Mayor Pat Hallisey and council members Nick Long, Hank Dugie and Andy Mann won their seats to the council Nov. 6.
