After nearly four years in development, the new Fajita Pete's location in Bellaire is now open for staple Tex-Mex items for pickup, delivery and to go.

Founder Pedro “Pete” Mora opened the new Bellaire location on Spruce Street across from H-E-B in early March. With more than 30 Tex-Mex delivery and catering locations spread across four states and throughout Texas, the concept behind Fajita Pete’s was Mora's original idea from 2008.

“I bought the space at the end of 2020-2021,” Mora previously told Community Impact.

What's on the menu

The Tex-Mex restaurant will serve fresh-grilled fajitas, homemade tortillas, frozen margaritas and other staple Tex-Mex items, but only for pickup, delivery and to go for now, Mora said. For diners who are looking for nonalcoholic beverage options, Fajita Pete's drink menu includes horchata, lemonade and manzanita, an apple-flavored soft drink. Dessert options include sopapillas, churros and tres leches cheesecake.

The Bellaire location is closed on Mondays, according to its website.
